Recently I was waiting to turn left at an intersection on my way to the radio station. The car ahead of me also was signaling left.
I noticed the approaching car to the left was signaling a right hand turn. The driver ahead of me had enough time to successfully make his left turn out in front of the approaching car and safely drove away.
Did I have enough time to do the same? Yes, I did, but I waited. And I’m glad I did because the approaching driver on the left, still signaling a turn, continued driving right in front of me without stopping. Thankfully, I had prevented an accident from happening by being patient.
No news is good news. Not for my older, however. It was years ago he trusted the signaling driver from the left and made the turn. No one was seriously injured in the following accident, but he was legally held responsible.
Why did I make this blog? It’s better to be safe than sorry. It’s always right to drive for the other person, not just yourself. I’m sure some of those reading this will agree just because they’re still alive to do so.
Have a great day!
