Hello MAGIC Listeners,
It’s the holiday season and Christmas is right around the corner. One of my all time favorite
holidays. Since Christmas is a week away, I thought I would talk about my favorite things about
the holiday.

1. I love… LOVE… LOVE Christmas decorations. I love seeing the way everybody
   decorates and everybody’s style. The lights are BEAUTIFUL, and bring so much
   Christmas cheer. However, a new trend I’ve seen is straight lines of lights coming down
   from trees? What started this? What happened to wrapping the trees?
2. I am huge on surprises. I love getting them. I love giving them. Albeit I’m not the best at
   giving them. I tend to give them away. But I am so excited for this year’s surprise. Stay
   tuned…
3. Family and friends are one of the most important things to me. Getting to see them all
   together, laughing, and smiling, is one of my favorite things. Holidays aren’t the same
   without them. Plus, I love seeing how happy everybody is as they open gifts.
4. Lastly, I love Christmas baking. My mom and I usually do a crazy baking weekend. We
   will make over 15 different treats and give them out to over 15 different people. The
   baking process takes 2 days and a day to package and deliver Christmas goodies. One
   of my favorite traditions and one that’s hard to miss this year.
   Overall, I love everything about this holiday. It always brings me so much cheer and excitement.
   Definitely hard being the first year away from family and friends. However, I am thankful for
   those I have here and the memories from years past. I hope you all have a very Merry
   Christmas!
